Fire Mitigation and Chipping Day
With the unseasonably dry weather Colorado experienced over the winter months, fire mitigation efforts within our community are important. We have multiple resources available if you have questions, and are excited to announce this year's Chipping Day in partnership with the Monument Fire Department the week of July 6th.
Homeowners must submit participation by July 1 to board@canterbury-hoa.com and all slash must be out by 5pm on July 5th. See the June Community Newsletter that was emailed out for additional details.
Canterbury Estates Board Meeting in July
The board is having a virtual Canterbury Estates Board Meeting for homeowners that would like to join on Tuesday, July 21st, 2026, from 6:30–7:00 PM. Any owners that have items they would like to discuss during this time will need to submit the topics to the board in advance by Wednesday, July 15th. In order to be mindful of timing and potentially other topics, owners will be allowed 3 minutes per topic submitted.
Please reach out to the board at board@canterbury-hoa.com if you would like to join the virtual meeting and to submit topics. We will plan to email virtual invites with the meeting link on Saturday, July 18th, in advance of the meeting to those who sign up!
Welcome to Canterbury Estates
Canterbury Estates is an equestrian community located five miles east of Monument, Colorado. The county has zoned us "Residential Rural" with an intentional focus on the "residential" before the "rural". All properties in Canterbury are approximately 5 acres.
Canterbury's homeowners' association was established in 1969 to serve our "colony of congenial persons". Managed and operated by unpaid volunteers living in the community, the HOA works to maintain quality of life for our owners, protect property values, and foster a sense of community for the residents.
Much more information about Canterbury Estates can be found by following the links in the navigation menu above.
